ALL ABOUT THE BREATH
ANATOMY OF A SESSION
HOME IS IN THE BODY.
LOVE IS IN
THE BREATH.
WHAT IS BREATHWORK?
breathwork is the practice of conscious rhythmic breathing. through controlling our breath we can access the connection between our conscious and subconscious minds. this creates a portal to healing ourselves mind, body, and spirit.
our breath is our life force, our energy center, the spirit of our being. by bringing awareness to our breath, we can reconnect to ourselves, the collective, and nature.
breathwork allows access to your body's innate intelligence to heal itself. it regulates the nervous system, and releases stagnant energy and traumas. it also offers room for personal growth and transformation, through improved mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.

ANATOMY OF A SESSION
WHAT TO EXPECT.
sessions include breathwork, energy healing, music, guided meditation, and body movement (yoga, somatics, dance, etc.), and may be 1 to 2 hours in duration with 20-45 minutes of active breathwork in seated & supine positions.
each session opens with intention setting, stretching, and guidance on the breathing techniques.
after the active breathwork there is ample time for deep rest, and an invitation to reflect, share and journal.
to best prepare for a session, come with an open mind & heart to allow yourself to be fully present in your body and the experience.
you should not eat or drink anything up to 2 hours prior to the session.
for virtual sessions, prepare a quiet space where you can meditate and engage in small body movements. bring a yoga mat, blanket(our bodies tend to chill during active breathwork), support cushion or pillow and water. to eliminate distraction and improve focus i recommend using headphones and an eye covering.
most questions or concerns are addressed in the free consultation and preparation process.
AFTERCARE.
one of the many benefits of a breathwork session, is that after a session, you may feel energized and clear, ready to engage in your daily activities. you may also feel so well rested that you immediately go into restorative sleep.
my recommendation is to allow yourself time to rest and reflect on your journey immediately after a session. take time to journal, savor something sweet and nourishing, and drink water to release toxins from your body.
the benefits of breathwork last long after a session. you may continue to journey from days to weeks after a session. this may be experienced as anything from a heightened sense of joy and clarity, to tears and grief as you release stored emotions, traumas, and toxins from your body.
